Keep in mind that a home inspection is NOT an appraisal of the home’s worth nor is it a building code compliance inspection. A home that was built 40 years ago would obviously not be built to the same building code requirements as a house that was newly constructed. The home inspection is meant to provide an overview of how the house is functioning at the time of the inspection.
Upon completion of the inspection our clients electronically receive a detailed, written report of the inspection results. This report includes an overall summary as well as a report on each of the main systems examined. Also included are color pictures and illustrations to help highlight any issues that were noted during the inspection. This report becomes the permanent property of the client, as specified in our agreement to provide the inspection services.
